Breaking: A Challenging Opportunity for Budding Pakistani Short-Film makers‏

What is going to drive the world next? Facebook, Snapchat, Pokemon Go, virtual reality, 5G or clash of civilization! Visualize and portray in your own way in a short film and win an Ignite fellowship. Create and submit an original one to eight-minute film exploring the theme “What’s Next?”

Project 1324 and Sundance Institute are calling upon budding filmmakers aged 18 to 24 years around the world to take on this question of 'Whats Next? in a short film challenge. It's a challenging opportunity for filmmakers to land in Sundance film festival in Utah, America.

The Institute will award an Ignite Fellowship to fifteen selected filmmakers whose films embody the required qualities and demonstrate distinct creative skills. The winners will become Sundance Ignite Fellows, and receive a trip to the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, a year-long mentorship, and more.

"We are looking for films that are pure, bold, renegade, independent, innovative, next wave, next breed, and stylistically adventurous.," says the organizers.
The Ignite award package include Sundance Film Festival ticket; roundtrip flight to Salt Lake city Utah; ground transportation to/from Park City, Utah; lodging; and a stipend for meals.
This is the second year in a row that Adobe Project 1324 and Sundance Institute are teaming up for a short film challenge for talent hunt.

“We encourage you to respond as broadly or specifically to the prompt as possible,” advises the Adobe Project 1324 web site.
Films will be evaluated for technical excellence, demonstration of an original voice, innovative storytelling and strong character or subject development.

The Ignite Fellows Program is a competitive and intensive yearlong Sundance Institute experience designed to provide artistic and professional development, mentorship, and industry exposure for emerging filmmakers.

The deadline is September 26 and films can be submitted at SundanceIgnite2016.com.
