It's
all about a storm. Yes, a storm and caused only by one tweet. Pakistani
Journalist Omer Qureshi, is pretty popular on Twitter with 141K
followers so when he tweeted about India's abysmal performance a t the Rio Olympics, his tweet stirred up a storm in India.
“Finally one of the 119 competitors that India sent to Rio has won a medal – a bronze – now see how they portray it as if they won 20 golds,” tweeted Quraishi. This one tweet caused an uproar in India and left the Indians bristling with anger."

According
to Khaleej Times, "Pakistan journalist Omar Quraishi mocked the
celebrations of Indians on Twitter. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan
took to Twitter to answer Quraishi's criticisms."
But take
it easy Omer Quraishi, you are not the only one under fire. The Indian
Journalist Shobha De has also been similarly bad mouthed. She has also
received a lot of flak on social networking sites because of her
comments on the Indian Olympic contingent's performance at Rio. Her
tweet stated, "Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies
lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity."
