Abhay Deol Pointing Out The Hypocrisy Behind Banning Pak Artists But Not The Business‏

Last week in an exclusive OpEd, we disclosed the figures of Indian bilateral trade with Pakistan which overwhelmingly favored India, now an Indian superstar is pointing out the hypocrisy of Indan government and Extremist political faction behind banning Pakistani artists. Interestingly, Abhay Deol is reiterating the same logical arguments given by us in our OpEd, Who Will Be the Loser if Tension Escalates Between Nuclear Neighbors.

Abhay brilliantly points out that Indian extremists are insisting on ban on artists but not the trade and business relations with Pakistan. "If you want to ban anything to do with Pakistan, then go the distance. Don't just ban filmmakers. Why are you doing a half-hearted job? Ban the business dealings, the import, the export because when you do half a job no one will take you seriously."

Abhay further stresses his point:  I don't take the government seriously because they are only banning us from collaborating with artistes. They are not banning businessmen from making business. Right now it is not looking like you mean it, it just looks like it gets you a lot of publicity and makes a lot of noise. But really what is the point of it? I will support it if you think banning anything to do with Pakistan is going to help our jawans, fine. But I don't see the whole distance. I see one little thing looked at and banned and another part being left. Sounds hypocritical to me."

Indian Twitterati is overwhelmingly praising Abhi as an actor raising his voice when he doesn't have a movie at stake. "Proud of You Abhay Deol. Respect n Love raised." A Indian Tweet said.
