Khan Malik, Deputy General Manager of Huawei shines again and gets
'Future Star' Award of Huawei from GM, Huawei Pakistan. Former Head of
Marketing, Huawei Pakistan, Faraz Khan recently has been promoted to
Deputy General Manager of the company. Having a decade-long career in
sales, marketing, and strategic business management, Malik is known for
his aggressive marketing strategies to promote Huawei sales in the
country and has a proven track record of increasing revenues,
streamlining workflow and creating a team environment to increase
productivity.
Fraz Khan a graduate of the University of Leicester and Bedfordshire, started his career with Samsung in 2008 and left the company as Assistant Marketing Manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan. He later joined Hewlett-Packard and worked as IWS country manager before finally joining Huawei electronics in July 2013.
During his four year career with Huawei, the company revenue raised from 18 million USD to 150 million USD. Under his leadership, the global electronics giant saw a rapid market share growth in Pakistan from 1% to 15 % in 16 months. The company also achieved Regional Award for Best TVC and Regional award for Retail Branding. Notably, in last Quarter Huawei has outperformed both Samsung & Q mobile.
His professional achievements include successful launch of Huawei Mobiles in Pakistan.
From 2009 to 2015, during his decade-long career with Hewlett-Packard, Samsung, and Huawei, Faraz has demonstrated outstanding performance and has earned several professional awards including Employee of the year 2009-10 by Samsung Pakistan, Retail Champion Award (2011), Highest Retail Market share Award SEA-APJ (2012), Best Marketing Contribution award MEHQ (2013), Best consumer Brand Awareness growth MEHQ (2014) and Most rapid market share growth worldwide (2015).
